ZYRTEC® Now Available Over The Counter
After receiving approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the allergy treatment ZYRTEC is now available without a prescription for adults and children. ZYRTEC is an antihistamine that helps relieve upper respiratory symptoms caused by allergy triggers such as dust, mold and pet dander, tree pollen, weeds and grasses. It also relieves itching due to hives.

ZYRTEC has been used as a prescription medication for over ten years. This over-the-counter release is not a lower dosage version, but the original-prescription strength.
